Credit-Suisse, Confédération

The buildings, owned by Credit Suisse, are to be converted in order to change the internal spatial organisation by creating open spaces. The thermal quality of the building envelope is being adapted and all the technical installations are being replaced.

The work is part of an overall renovation of the Credit Suisse buildings on the City-Geneva site (4 buildings). The planning of the works takes into account the existing links between the various buildings in terms of circulation and technical installations.

The overall energy concept (primary energy using water from the Rhône) has been modified for the future phased conversion of the other buildings on the site.

The basic concept for the Credit Suisse site in Geneva is based on the networking of the three Credit Suisse buildings on Place Bel-Air, Rue de la Monnaie and Rue de la Confédération respectively. This principle enables optimum use to be made of environmental energy, cooling to be recovered and energy to be minimised.
